We have regular meetings on Wednesday evenings, during which we run trains or work on the railroad. When we have projects to complete, we also schedule work sessions at other times, usually on Monday evenings or Saturdays. We also have occasional trips to other clubs, to train shows, or on excursions. Many of our members are rail fans who participate in other train watching or riding activities. When we operate the railroad for our own amusement, we operate a waybill schedule that sometimes stretches over several operating sessions. Because of the size of the railroad, we can easily use 15 or more operators. During shows we operate a shorter schedule that lasts about 35 minutes, but still uses a number of different trains.
